Several foals from Woodside Farm have had successful seasons this year and the next crop of potential stars are being prepped by the farm for the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22. A total of six will enter the ring for Woodside Farm based out of Wolcottville for Lester Beechy.

Woodside Farm offers several nice trotters, including a half-sister to Jailhouse Dance, Indiana Sires Stakes winner this year.
Leading the way for the consignment is the Dover Dan gelding Woodside Ira, whose dam is a half sister to the great Indiana trotter Measuredperfection, winner of nearly $350,000 with a mark of 1:53.1. The latest foal follows in the footsteps of his freshman brother Jailhouse Dance, who took a mark of 1:54.1 and has earnings already over the $250,000 mark as an Indiana Sires Stakes winner. Woodside Ira sells as Hip No. 317 in the sale.
Woodside Farm will also send out a full sister to another Indiana Sires Stakes Stakes winner in the two-year-old ranks Crystal Swan. The yearling selling is named BJ Jolene and Woodside will serve as the agent for the filly. She will sell as Hip No. 98.
Switching to the pacing ranks, JK’s Terror will sell as Hip No. 147, also under agent for Woodside Farm. The JK Endofanera filly is a second foal from the Western Terror mare Angel or Terror who has already produced winners such as Woodside Gunner (1:53.4, $31,000). Black type continues down the sale page in the book for JK’s Terror.
