Lester Beechy’s Woodside Farm is a week away from participating in the Northern Indiana Farm Open House. Set for Monday, Oct. 12 and Tuesday, Oct. 13, the farm, located in Wolcottville, Ind. will open its doors to prospective buyers to showcase numerous yearlings earmarked for both the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale and the Michiana Classic Yearling Sale.

Woodside Farm will offer a strong consignment at both the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale and the Michiana Classic Yearling Sale.
Headlining the five-yearling consignment for the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale is a Swan for All filly whose dam, Jailhouse Diva, is a half sister to Indiana Sired standout Measuredperfection, a daughter of Swan for All who took a mark this summer of 1:53.1 and continues to add to her $350,000 bankroll. The latest foal from Jailhouse Diva is Woodside Fancyswan, listed as Hip No. 166. She is only the second foal of Jailhouse Diva, the other one being a two-year-old in 2019.
Another trotting prospect from Woodside Farm is Woodside Fiery Dan, a colt by first crop sire Dover Dan. Listed as Hip No. 188, Woodside Fiery Dan is the first colt out of Indiana Sires Stakes champ Lady Blitz, who took a mark of 1:53.2 and earned nearly $500,000 before retiring to the brood mare ranks. Another Dover Dan colt in the consignment is Woodside Famous Dan, a first foal from a Muscle Hill mare, Silvia, that is a half-sister to Hambletonian elimination winner and final runner-up Adrian Chip, who earned $1 million in his career. Woodside Famous Dan sells on the second day of the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale as Hip No. 312.
Woodside Farm also has four yearlings earmarked for the Michiana Classic Yearling Sale Nov. 25. A pair of JK Endofanera fillies will be sold along with a Swan for All filly who is a half sister to freshman Valiant Dewey named Swan’s Eye.
