The Indiana Standardbred Association (ISA) began a new initiative in 2019 to create an Indiana-associated Trainer Registry. More than 60 trainers in and around Indiana that race at both Harrah’s Hoosier Park as well as the Indiana Sired Fair Circuit submitted their information for the first registry.

The 2020 ISA Trainer Registration Form has been included in the 2020 Membership Packet, which is arriving in homes now.
The Trainer Registry is a valuable tool for owners seeking a trainer. Many new individuals to the sport of harness racing need assistance in gaining a trainer and the process to get involved with the Indiana program. By submitting a 2020 Trainer Registry form back to the ISA Office, this will provide potential owners with a way to narrow down their search, find someone that fits their vision and/or find a trainer that is located near their current home base.
The 2020 Trainer Registry is part of the Membership Packet that was mailed by the ISA Office earlier this week. The packets have begun arriving in homes. Whether a stable includes one horse or 50 horses, trainers are encouraged to submit their forms back to the office by June 1, 2020 to be included on the list for this racing season. The complete Trainer Registry for 2020 will be available in the July issue of the ISA Magazine.
