As Converse Fairgrounds prepares to kick off the 2021 season of the Indiana Sired Fair Circuit (ISFC) Thursday, June 3 and Friday, June 4, the Indiana Standardbred Association (ISA) is offering a new service on the website. The track records for each of the nine county fair locations in the state of Indiana. The records are courtesy of the Indiana Chapter of the U.S. Harness Writers Association (USHWA).

Track records for all nine ISFC sites are now available on the ISA Website under the racing tab on the homepage, courtesy of the Indiana chapter of US Harness Writers Association.
Each fair location is listed under racing on the homepage with the ISFC offering a drop down menu featuring all fairs. The records depict the quickest miles by both trotters and pacers for two and three-year-olds.
The quickest mile at Converse on the pace was recorded in 2016 by Rockin Rum Springa and driver Matt Rheinheimer. The Rockin Image sophomore filly posted a mile in 1:56.2. She was trained by Byron Hooley and owned by Summit Pacing Acres LLC and bred by Faron Parr.
Other record holders at Converse on the pace include Meadowbrook Lady (2YO Filly – 1:59.4; 2020); Farmer’s Tan (2YO C-G – 1:59.3 – 2018); and King Lil Joe (3YO C-G – 1:56.4 – 2018).
The quickest mile on the trot at Converse was recorded by Credit Fraud in 2018. The Jailhouse Jesse filly, trained and driven by Jay Cross, posted a time of 1:59.2 as a three-year-old for owners Carl Hanes and Maynard Miller to establish the record. Midland Acres Inc. and ACL Stuteri AB are the breeders on the filly.
Other record holders at Converse on the trot include Miss Greenbacks (2YO Filly – 2:02.2 – 2020); J-S Peyton (2YO C-G – 2:01.0 – 2017); and Summit City Nate (3YO C-G – 1:59.4 – 2015),
The records for each county fair site are valid through May 1, 2021. Members of the Indiana Chapter of USHWA will continue to keep the records updated annually.
