One of the stallions that will have his first foals hit the ground in 2022 is Don’t Let’Em, who stands at Ivy Lane Farm in Goshen, Ind. The trotting son of Muscle Hill set a stakes and track record with his win in the Peter Haughton Memorial at two. Hailing from the Jimmy Takter barn, he won the $220,000 Carl Erskine Memorial at Hoosier Park at three and finished second in the $450,000 Kentucky Futurity Final as well as his Hambletonian elimination. In all, he made in excess of $600,000 and has a mark of 1:50.2. The stud fee for Don’t Let’em is $3,500 and there is a 2022 multiple foal discount.
A new stallion in 2022 in Indiana is Best in Show, standing at Premier Acres. The Bettor’s Delight son took a mark of 1:48.0 and earned more than $670,000 during his racing career. Trained by Linda Toscano, he was stakes placed multiple times and won the Meadowlands Pace at three. He stands for a price of $3,500.
