Hoosier Standardbred Farm, which has been in existence for 47 years, has eight yearlings headed to the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26. One of the six trotters included in the mix has the distinct bloodlines that has led to previous champions. Flying Swan will become only the fourth foal by Swan for All from a Dream Vacation mare to enter the racing ranks and join an impressive group of descendants from that line.

Flying Swan will be part of the Hoosier Standardbred consignment at the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale Oct. 25 and 26 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Life Dream Hanover, a daughter of Dream Vacation, took a mark of 1:52.4 and earned more than $200,000 during her career. Flying Swan is her second foal and follows Dream Bowl, now two, who is currently racing. The other foals from Dream Vacation mares include Hannelore Hanover, who is by Swan for All and a world champion with more than $3 million, and Bags for All, who has a mark of 1:52.0 and more than $300,000. Flying Swan sells as Hip No. 307 in the Hoosier Standardbred Farm consignment as agent for William Graber of Montgomery, Ind.
Other yearlings selling under the Hoosier Standardbred Farm consignment include a filly by Mr Cantab, Miss Potsy, as Hip No. 59, a Real Desire colt, Dropitsdesire as Hip No. 224 and a Shadyshark Hanover colt Shark Snare as Hip No. 266.
Miss Potsy is out of the Conway Hall mare Sexpot Hall, who took a mark of 1:54.1. She already has three winners from four foals, including Scorcher Hall, winner in 1:53.1. Looking down through the pedigree, buyers will find SJs Photo under the third dam, who was a world champion with a mark of 1:53 and earnings in excess of $1.3 million.
Dropitsdesire is a half brother to Atta Boy Dan, who has a mark of 1:48.4 and more than $850,000 in earnings. Shark Snare is out of the mare Hope Lane Hanover, who took a mark of 1:53.1 as a two-year-old. Her latest colt is a full brother to Thebigbadshark, who took a mark of 1:53.0 earlier this year and has in excess of $25,000.
