The teams will compete in six races on the Saturday evening program. Each team is assigned even numbered post positions rotated in all six races. Drivers will accumulate points on their official finish with first receiving 30 points and moving on down the scale to last place, which receives zero points.
Team Ohio won the competition last year and have won two of the three previous meetings with Team Indiana winning the competition in 2016. A prize of $3,000 is on the line for the winning team, but each of the previous three years, the drivers have donated the funds to the Dayton Firefighters Local 136, who provides the ambulance and EMT service at Hollywood Dayton.
Team Ohio will be represented by Jeremy Smith (captain), Dan Noble, Chris Page, Josh Sutton and Kayne Kauffman. Tyler Smith is currently in the alternate position. The team from Ohio is based on the top five drivers in the standings.
