Swandre The Giant and driver-trainer Brandon Bates slayed the competition in the third leg of the $24,000 Indiana Sires Stakes elimination Saturday, Aug. 18 at Hoosier Park. The freshman trotting sensation turned in a gate to wire performance, stopping the timer in 1:54.3.

Swandre The Giant began his journey from post three and was on top of the field of 11 by two lengths at the quarter in :28.2. The son of Swan For All continued his dominance through middle fractions of :57.2 and 1:27.0 before rallying home in the stretch, powering home with a :27.3 final panel to win by six and three-quarter lengths. Sign Here N Here, driven by Sam Widger, finished second over Swan Before All, driven by Peter Wrenn, for third.
