Swan in Motion. the older Indiana sired standout trotter, added another win to his credentials Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Dover Downs. Guided by Tim Tetrick, the veteran trotter was a winner by open lengths in 1:55.3.

Swan in Motion and Tim Tetrick cruise to another win Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Dover Downs.
Swan in Motion started from post two and when the gate opened, there wasn’t much early speed. Great Unknown and Montrell Teague were the only ones to show some interest in the top spot and moved over from the outside for the first lead with Swan in Motion at his back. Midway through the first turn, the tempo didn’t suit Swan in Motion and he pulled out and around to lead just after the quarter in :28.3. From there it was Swan in Motion’s race to lose. The six-year-old stallion held steady on the front end as challengers began to move to the outside at the three-quarters in 1:26.3.
Swan in Motion was well in hand down the stretch, winning by one length over Great Unknown, who tried one more time to catch the top one. Swan’s Maid, another Indiana sired product, rallied up late for Jim Morand to finish third.
Swan in Motion was the heavy favorite, paying $2.20. He is owned by Howard Taylor and trained by Dylan Davis. Lyle Slabach bred the six-year-old, who now has 31 career wins in 99 career starts. With $677,000 on his card, his early success was on the Indiana circuit but he’s been on the East Coast for most of the past two seasons, taking his career best time of 1:52.1 at The Meadowlands earlier this year.
