Purdue University is preparing a new study on the impact of horse racing for the state of Indiana. To better assist their efforts, a survey is being circulated into all three racing breeds in the state, and anyone associated with racing is asked to fill out the survey so Purdue can report more accurate numbers.

The Indiana Equine Industry Survey has been extended to Sunday, Aug. 28. Everyone is encouraged to fill it out so Purdue can report accuracy in the new study on horse racing in Indiana.
The initial survey was due Aug. 15. However, Purdue has extended the deadline to Sunday, Aug. 28.
There are three ways to access the survey. The link is available on all the breed websites, including the ISA’s Website on the home page. The second way is to scan the QR Code, also available on the Websites. The third way is to fill out the survey that was mailed to all participants the week of July 17 and mail it back.
Organizations participating with the survey include Indiana HBPA, ITOBA, QHRAI, ISA, Indiana Horse Racing Commission, Harrah’s Hoosier Park and Horseshoe Indianapolis.
For more information or questions regarding the survey, please contact the ISA Office at (800) 565-5725.
