(This is the first of 17 spotlights on breeders that advertised in the Oct. issue of the ISA Magazine)
Straight A Stable will once again offer a strong contingent in the upcoming Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale. The event is set for Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Straight A Stables will offer a mixture of trotters and pacers at the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale.
The sale kicks off with a strong member from Straight A Stables with Hip No. 5, Jesmach Crownroyal, a gelding by Always a Virgin. The yearling is out of the mare Canttakeitwithyou, who is from the immediate family of standout Pacing Filly Priceless. Jesmach Crownroyal has shown a lot of free-legged pacing action in the paddock and on his videos leading up to the sale.
Another yearling that will be getting a lot of attention is Hip No. 264. Bobmarshall is a colt by Always a Virgin from the proven broodmare Secluded Beach. He is a half brother to Rockinscience (1:52.2, $56,714) and Rockinsomewhere (1:50.1, $68,795).
On the trotting side, Straight A Stable will feature Ascent, a colt by Swan for All. The yearling, set as Hip No. 133, is out of the Chapter Seven mare Jupiter Rising and is only the second foal. The first foal is a two-year-old this year, Sevenswansrising, who has raced.
Straight A Stable is a partnership with Al and Harvey Fry of Millersburg and Topeka, Ind., respectively. They provide pre-sale inspections of their yearlings at the farms, and arrangements can be made by calling (574) 536-0654.
