Premier Acres of Middlebury, Ind. will conduct an Open House Saturday, Jan. 16. The event is set from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will showcase the property’s six stallions heading into the 2021 breeding season.

Premier Acres of Middlebury, Ind. will showcase their 2021 lineup of stallions with a special Open House Saturday, Jan. 16 from 10AM until 2PM.
Stallions currently featured at Premier Acres includes four trotters and two pacers. Heading the list of trotting stallions is Pilot Discretion, Pastor Stephen, Lucky Chucky and Big Stick Lindy while Capt Midnight and Odds On Equuleus are the two pacers at the farm.
Capt Midnight, a son of Captaintreacherous, enters his first year of stud duty with a mark of 1:48.3 and more than $550,000 in earnings. Odds On Equuleus, a son of Art Major, took a mark of 1:47.3 during his career with more than $935,000. His first crop of two-year-olds are currently prepping for the 2021 racing season.
Big Stick Lindy leads the trotters, heading into his 11th season as a stallion in Indiana. The Conway Hall horse, who has a mark of 1:55.4 and earnings in excess of $236,000, has sired 53 in 2:00 and eight under the 1:55 time barrier. Trotting mare Satin Dancer leads the list for Big Stick Lindy with a mark of 1:53.0 and earnings over $739,000.
Lucky Chucky, winner of more than $2 million with a mark of 1:50.4, also moves into his 11th season at stud but his first in Indiana. He relocates most recently from Ohio and in all, has sired 99 in 2:00 and 18 under the 1:55 time barrier with earnings of more than $10 million total.
Pastor Stephen, who has a mark of 1:52.4 and earnings over the $1 million mark, will stand his first season in Indiana in 2021. Pilot Discretion, a son of Muscle Hill with a mark of 1:51.4 and $413,000 in earnings, moves to his second season at stud in Indiana in 2021.
