As Harrah’s Hoosier Park prepares for the 29th season of Standardbred racing, one important aspect is filling the barn area. Stall applications are available and are due back to Harrah’s Hoosier Park Director of Racing Scott Peine by Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022.
Stall applications for stabling and shipping in to Harrah’s Hoosier Park are due by Thursday, Feb. 10.
The 2022 Standardbred season gets underway Friday, March 25 and extends through Saturday, Dec. 10. Racing will be conducted Tuesday through Saturday with a first post of 6:30 p.m.
Stabling and racing at Harrah’s Hoosier Park can be obtained through a stall application on the website at www.hoosierpark.com. Once the application deadline has passed, stalls will be allotted within two weeks with all trainers notified by Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022.
The minimum claiming price for horses at Harrah’s Hoosier Park is $5,000 plus allowances. Other amenities can be obtained through the stall application, including dorm rooms and electronic walker arms, which run $150 per arm for the meet with a whole walker available for $600 for the whole racing season.
