Harrah’s Hoosier Park will host a special Memorial Day racing card Monday, May 30. The early evening post of 6:15 p.m. will be surrounded by activities, from contests and giveaways to special incentives for the military.
Harrah’s Hoosier Park will offer a special Memorial Day racing program beginning at 6:15 p.m. Monday, May 30.
Activities get underway at 5 p.m. with a petting zoo, face painting, cornhole and interactive games and information from the Harness Horse Youth Foundation. Incentives for the older racing fan will include five – $100 MegaBet wager giveaways, and a special holiday handicapping contest in cooperation with the Indiana Standardbred Association.
Harrah’s Hoosier Park will also honor all military service men and women with a special 15 percent dining discount at any dining outlet with a Caesars Rewards card or military i.d. The evening will be dedicated to those who serve with a special color guard and national anthem to kick off racing.
Three food trucks will also be track side for Memorial Day. Ky’s Kreation, The Food Vault and Custard Dogs will be offered on the apron during the holiday racing program.
