“It was a very good experience,” said Smith, second vice president of ISA. “It was good to hear the challenges and experiences from other organizations in racing. It’s all about helping each other and furthering our industry. The ISA should send somebody every year. I think it is important to have representation.”
ISA is a current member of HHI. The ISA’s membership with HHI allows any ISA member, in good standing, to purchase third party liability insurance through HHI.
To purchase the third-party liability insurance through HHI, an application must be completed through their organization. To find out more information or to apply for the insurance, contact HHI at http://www.harnesshorsemeninternational.com/Insurance.html.
Other state organizations representing the Standardbred horsemen and horsewomen that are current members of HHI include Illinois, Delaware, Kentucky, Maine, Ontario, New England, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota, and Western New England.
