Rockin Serena, the standout Indiana sired pacing mare, was a winner at Pompano Park Tuesday, Dec. 10 in the evening’s featured $10,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace. The Rockin Image five-year-old scored a gate to wire win in 1:51.1, just a tick off her personal career best time of 1:51.0 taken earlier this year.

Owned by Emerald Highlands Farm, Dolne Farm Services and Wrenn Racing, Rockin Serena won her eighth race of 2019 in her 31st start. She was guided during the mile by Peter Wrenn with his wife, Melanie, serving as the trainer.
Rockin Serena has more than $345,000 in career earnings. She has spent her career in the Wrenn Stable and earned honors as the state’s top three-year-old for divisional honors. She has found much success outside the state of Indiana and competed in the 2017 Jugette. Bred by Daryl Miller of Blue Bird Meadows, Rockin Serena was purchased out of the 2015 Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale under the name of Bluebird Eclipse for $82,000.
