According to a press release from the Indiana Horse Racing Commission (IHRC), Governor Eric Holcomb has completed appointments for all three breeds in racing for Indiana. A total of five individuals have been reappointed to the Indiana Standardbred Advisory Board, including the chairman of the board Dwayne Rhule.
Other re-appointees to the board include Pam Cross, Tim Graber, Byron Hooley and Faron Parr. All members of the board will retain their positions through Nov. 30, 2022.
The Standardbred Advisory Board leads the charge in many facets of Indiana racing each year. One task is making recommendations regarding the racing conditions for the Indiana Sires Stakes program as well as the Indiana Sired Fair Circuit program. Those recommendations are relayed to the IHRC for review and consideration.
