R-N-D Standardbreds, which represents Richard Frey, Norman Miller and Danny Frey, is putting the final touches on their yearlings for next weekends Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale set for Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22. A total of 12 yearlings will be part of the farm’s consignment, with yearlings scattered from start to finish of the event.

A dozen yearlings will be prepped for the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22 by R-N-D Standardbreds.
The first yearling to sell is Hip No. 5, Starlit Tellmeall. The Tellitlikeitis gelding is a half brother to JK Heaven Setn, who has a mark of 1:50.3 and nearly $300,000 on his card. The family has three winners from five previous foals, including Odds On Dead Heat, who has a mark of 1:54.4 and $65,000 in earnings while competing in Indiana Sires Stakes action. The gelding is part of RND’s consignment, which is in Aisle 28 and 29.
One yearling that will be getting a lot of looks is the half sister to Swan on a Mission, the standout Indiana Sires Stakes gelding with a mark of 1:53.4 and more than $225,000. The family also includes Callmesue (1:54.1, $107,000) and Hes on a Mission (1:56.2, $134,000). You Know Lisa is the latest from the family that has seven winners in eight foals. The filly will sell as Hip No. 30 on the first day of the sale.
On the second day, another trotting yearling will get a lot of looks from RND as Golden Dan will walk in the ring as Hip No. 380. The Dover Dan colt comes from the family of Grand Swan, Indiana Sires Stakes champion, whose dam, Queen Mum is a sister to the second dam, Lithograph. Golden Dan is the second foal from the Conway Hall mare Golden Gabby, who has a two-year-old this season that is a winner, Lady Litho, in a time of 1:59.1 with $11,000 earned.
The final yearling to sell for RND is Image of Anera as Hip No. 406. The JK Endofanera colt is the first foal from the Rockin Image mare, Image of Felicia, who has a mark of 1:53.2. The second dam, Keep Your Pans Off, has a mark of 1:51.1 and nearly $300,000 in earnings and has produced several six figure winners, including Naked City (1:51.0), Pans Culottes (1:54.3), and Bell Bottom Pans (1:51.3). Image of Anera is one of the yearlings represented by RND as an agent for Leon Bontrager.
