A strong aisleway will be presented by R-N-D Standardbreds in the upcoming Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale. To get a sneak peek at some of the yearlings, the farm is participating in the Northern Indiana Open House Monday, Oct. 12 and Tuesday, Oct. 13. Three locations will be offered during the Open House from Richard Frey in Topeka, Norman Miller of Shipshewana, and Danny Frey of Millersburg.
R-N-D Standardbreds is bringing some new blood into the Indiana breeding program with several new mares. The next one in line from the Mr. Lavec mare, Lisa’s Mission, is a filly named Callmesue by first crop sire Dover Dan. Listed as Hip No. 199, Callmesue is also a half sister to Hes On a Mission with a mark of 1:56.2 and earnings over $132,000.
Another filly that will grab attention is Stolyo Annie, selling as Hip No. 204. The Odds On Equuleus filly is a sister to Bluegrass Series division winner Ticket to Rock with a mark of 1:50.3 and more than $1 million in earnings. With a lot of black type under her dam, Odds on JP, she is also a sister to New Jersey Sires Stakes final winner Miss Scarlett, who took a mark of 1:50 and has in excess of $500,000 in earnings.
