Owned by Mary Jo and Marty Rheinheimer and trained by Marty, Freaky Feet Pete made his last start in early January at Miami Valley in the $25,000 Open before taking a break. He moves into his sixth season of competition in 2019 with 33 career wins in 57 career starts and more than $1.5 million in purse earnings.
“Pete” took his career best time of 1:47.1 as a four-year-old at Pocono Downs. He’s also been raced timed in 1:47.2 at The Meadowlands and his quickest time at Harrah’s Hoosier Park is 1:48.2, taken at the age of three. Always a fan favorite, “Pete” always draws a crowd! Good luck “Pete” in 2019.
