Odds on Osiris, the standout Indiana champion from the Melanie Wrenn barn, scored his first win of 2022 to close out the month of February on Monday at Pompano Park. Now five, the gelding was a winner in 1:52.1.

Starting from post two in the conditioned pace, Odds on Osiris used early speed and scooted in behind Warrawee Veloce, who reached the lead after the quarter in :27.1. Once Warrawee Veloce was settled, Peter Wrenn got Odds on Osiris out and rolling, taking over the lead before the half in :56.3. From there, he kept the pace steady and repelled the outer flow of traffic through the three-quarter mile marker in 1:23.3.
In the stretch, Odds on Osiris held strong, pacing home in :28.3 to score the win by one and one-half lengths. Warrawee Veloce and Braxten Boyd followed him home to finish second and fended off late closer Shane Adam and Fern Paquet Jr. for third.
Odds on Osiris was the favorite, paying $2.80 for the win. The gelding is a son of Rockin Image and was bred by Merlie Schwartz. Wrenn Racing LLC recently leased him from Odds on Racing, who has campaigned him throughout his career. It was his 15th career win in 48 career starts. He now has more than $660,000 in career wins with his career best time taken as a three-year-old in 1:49.3.
