Hannelore Hanover completed her stellar career last year at seven. The Swan for All mare won more than $3 million and took a mark of 1:49.2 at the age of five. Some of her more outstanding accomplishments include Dan Patch and O’Brien Horse of the Year in 2016, Trotter of the Year in 2017 and Breeders Crown winner for owners Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, Frank Baldachino and J & T Silva Stable. She rejoined Hanover Shoe Farms when she retired to begin her career as a brood mare. She was bred to Southwind Frank this year with hopes of having her first foal in 2021.
The new filly born to Hannelore Hanover’s dam, High Sobriety, is the first Swan for All product since the champion mare. High Sobriety, a daughter of Dream Vacation, has six foals, one of which died, besides Hannelore Hanover. Of the five previous foals, she has a two-year-old set to hit the track in 2020 named H O Y Hanover, a colt by Walner. The new Swan for All filly is the seventh foal.
