The Midwest Auction Company is expanding. The company announced Wednesday, June 15 it will hold a June Sale set for Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Michiana Event Center located in Shipshewana, Ind.

The Midwest Auction Company has added a June sale to the agenda. The company has been holding mixed sales since 2017 at the Michiana Event Center.
“We certainly understand how fragile of a time we are in right now, not just for our industry but for the world,” stated sale manager Jeff Fought through a press release. “Our goal was to find a date that we felt would be late enough that we could make it work, while still early enough to fit the needs of both buyers and sellers of all classes of racehorses. We will take every precaution possible to have this be a safe environment, and we are optimistic about getting back to racing and back to business.”
One of the sales canceled that Fought referred to is the Spring Mixed Sale conducted by the Blooded Horse Sale. The sale is popular with Indiana horsemen and always includes numerous Indiana sired prospects.
The sale will offer live streaming services for bidding for those who cannot attend the sale in person. Also, the sale will extend it’s 50 percent payment policy for proceeds paid the day of the sale on Monday, June 22.
Entries are now being accepted by the Midwest Auction Company and will close Monday, May 11 or when the sale is full. Entries will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
