The Michiana Classic Yearling Sale is moving to September. The sixth annual event is set for Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Michiana Event Center located in Shipshewana, Ind. The entry deadline for contracts was originally set for June 1 but it has been extended.

The sixth annual Michiana Classic Yearling Sale will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Michiana Event Center.
According to the Michiana Classic Yearling Sale packet, the venue at the Michiana Event Center has become increasingly popular with the availability becoming difficult. The move to September will accommodate all entities, including horsemen and buyers for the next crop of Indiana yearlings.
In addition to the Michiana Classic Yearling Sale, the Midwest Mixed Sale is also moving to the new date. It is held on the same day following the yearling sale and will have it’s own sale book. The entry deadline for the Midwest Mixed Sale is July 20.
Both sales will be conducted by the Hoosier Classic Sale Company. The entry deadline for the yearling sale is $235.00 and all entries should be submitted to the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale at P.O. Box 1488, Middlebury, Ind. 46540.
