Driver Michael Oosting pulled Majestic Player A to the outside in first over fashion and was in perfect position for the stretch drive.
In the stretch, Majestic Player A was widest of all and was well in hand by driver Oosting as he crossed under the wire in 1:51.1. Dunbar Hall finished one and three-quarter lengths back in second followed by Two O B Wonkenobi and LeWayne Miller for third.
Jeff Fought Racing, Brian Carsey and Casey Myers own Majestic Player A, who is now seven. The Australian-bred gelding is by Majestic Son and matched his career best time in the effort. He has now won 34 career races with 19 of those recorded in the U.S. His career earnings are beyond $437,000 with $345,000 of that tally recorded while racing in North America.
