In all, he now has earnings in excess of $333,000 and took a mark of 1:51.1 at Harrah’s Hoosier Park this summer, which equaled the track record. According to Harnesslink.com, the mile also made him the fastest Australian-bred trotter in history.
Leading the way for pacers with two weeks of racing left in 2020 is Big Petes Style, an eight-year-old gelding who won 17 of 35 starts this year. Slippin the Clutch, a three-year-old pacing colt, was right behind him with 16 wins followed by five with 15 wins apiece, including the standout Party Girl Hill, who went 15 for 16 this year.
