Guided by Trace Tetrick, M E Radar Girl began her journey from post four and moved over to the rail as American Empress N and Brett Miller were the first leaders at the quarter in :27.1. ME Radar Girl was flushed out before the half and followed Juslikeaqueen and Dan Noble, the favorites of the field, toward the front. Juslikeaqueen claimed the top spot past the half in :55.3 and led the way to the stretch.
In the stretch, ME Radar Girl was able to put a nose in front to get by the leader, and had to dig deep to fend off Duck Duck Dragon and Josh Sutton who traveled three-wide to attack late in the race. M E Radar Girl held off Duck Duck Dragon, winning by one-half length in 1:53.2. I Choose You and Kayne Kauffman finished third.
Owned by George and SCP Stable of Georgia, M E Radar Girl paid $10 for the win. The eight-year-old daughter of Radar Sign now has 45 career wins in 160 career starts. The Lester Schmucker bred mare is nearing $300,000 in career earnings. She has been part of the George Stable since February of 2020.
