Indiana horsemen and horsewomen are rallying around fellow Indiana participants Tom Luther and Jennifer Redmond after they endured a devastating fire at their farm Sunday, Oct. 30. The blaze claimed four horses from their stable and also did major damage and a lot of equipment, feed and supplies were lost. As a result, Midwest Harness Supply has stepped up to raffle off a jog cart with proceeds going to Luther and Redmond.

A fundraiser for Tom Luther and Jennifer Redmond is taking place to assist with costs following a devastating barn fire at their farm.
The jog cart, a 2022 Premier brand, is available through Midwest Harness Supply’s tack shop, located on the backstretch at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. Raffle tickets are $5 each and may be purchased at the Tack Shop, Trackside Kitchen, Harrah’s Hoosier Park racing office, Harrah’s Hoosier Park Paddock, or via online through the VENMO ap at mhstackshop@yahoo.com. Also, Missy Essig and Sarah Conrad have been selling tickets and they were even made available at the Ohio racetracks.
The fundraiser for the donated jog cart will close Friday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. The winner will be announced live on the Harrah’s Hoosier Park pre-race show later that night at approximately 6 p.m.
In addition to the Jog Cart fundraiser, a GoFundMe page organized by Garrett Malady has been set up for Luther and Redmond. A goal of $15,000 has been set and to date, more than $8,300 has been raised for the cause. The link to the GoFundMe page is: https://gofund.me/c5eb50c7
