With just a few more nights of racing for the 2019 racing season, leaders are being determined in their respective categories, including the horse with the most wins of the meet at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. This season, Little Rocket Man tops the list of horses with 11 wins over Grand Swan, who finishes the meet with 10 wins.

Little Rocket Man began his career as a three-year-old at the beginning of the season at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, winning his very first start with Trace Tetrick in the bike for trainer Melissa Essig. He continued his winning ways, reeling off four straight wins before getting back on track in June three more consecutive wins. The biggest mile for the Rockin Image gelding was recorded in August when he took a new lifetime mark of 1:49.0. In all, Little Rocket Man finished with 11 wins in 17 starts and earnings in excess of $200,000. His last start of the year was in the Indiana Sires Stakes Super Final where he finished third.
Little Rocket Man is owned by Russ Beeman of Alexandria, Ind. and Jack Freeman of Anderson. He was bred by Victory Hill Farm and sold under the name Just Like Pete for $18,000 in the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale.
