Buyers were out in full force for the annual reduction of the Don Eash racing stock at the Blooded Horse Sale. The 14-horse reduction sold as the second day of the sale held at the Champions Expo Center in Springfield, Ohio.

Topping the list of sellers for Eash was Letsmakithapncapn, a three-year-old son of Real Desire. The gelding won three races this season and went into the sale off a 1:55.1 win at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. Letsmakithapncapn was purchased for $20,000 by Brad DeLaney of Wilmington, Ohio.
The top seller in the trotting ranks for Eash was Kasha’s Boy, a three-year-old son of Mr Cantab. Jennifer Newton of East Nassau, NY purchased the sophomore trotter for $17,000.
Other Indiana sired horses that sold during the second session include Farmers Tan, an Always A Virgin gelding who sold for $9.000 to David Daigneault of Ontario, Play to the Crowd, also by Always A Virgin who brought $12,000 and was purchased by Cory Kreiser of Pittsburgh, Pa., Sheeba D, a daughter of Swan for All who brought $13,000 and was knocked down to Louis Peachey of Pennsylvania, Milford’s Z Tam, also by Swan for All who was purchased by William Hartt of Carmel, Maine for $43,000, Martz Stick by Big Stick Lindy who brought $26,000 with Gary Levine as the buyer from New York, That’s A Bingo (Shadyshark Hanover) purchased by James Otto for $30,000, LetMeFly Low (Rockin Image) for $67,000 by John Ackley of Washington Court House, Ohio, Good Rockin (Rockin Image) for $26,000 by Terrence Smith of Texas, Townline Nanny (Real Desire) by Rene Allard of Pennsylvania for $11,500, Tatiana Romanova (Guccio) by Joni Gibb of Ohio for $24,000, Just Like Fire (Jailhouse Jesse) for $28,000 by Joe Putnam of Pendleton, Ind., Flagman (Guccio) by Dustin Ingraham of Florida for $32,000, and Always in Motion (Always a Virgin) by Ervin Wickey of Auburn, Ind. for $12,000.
