Headed by the matriarch Terry, the article penned by Neil Milbert highlights the family farm in Harvard, Ill. and also the “equivalent of a branch office in Indiana,” referring to youngest son Ross’s 21-acre farm complete with a training track just minutes from Harrah’s Hoosier Park.
Casey Leonard, leading driver last year in Indiana, occasionally comes to Indiana to drive when his schedule allows. The family rotates horses in and out of Indiana throughout the season and they have invested once again in the Indiana breeding program. The Leonards noted they currently have five Indiana-bred yearlings that will be in action in 2020.
