Kylea Lloyd, the daughter of trainer Justin Lloyd who is currently stabled at Pace Setter Farm, is finding a new place at Pendleton Heights High School. The 5-11 sophomore is a current starter on the Lady Arabians Girls Basketball team and is contributing to the team’s great start in 2019, already posting a record of 4-2 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference.

The Lady Arabians traveled to conference foe Shelbyville High School Friday, Nov. 29 and delivered a 69-35 blowout win. In that game, Lloyd finished with 5 points and 7 rebounds and had four steals. Her best game to date was against conference rival New Castle where she scored eight points. Also, this fall, she pulled down 11 rebounds during the Frankton game. She is a big defensive factor for the Lady Arabians in her first season playing at the varsity level.
Lloyd and the Lady Arabians were back in conference action Thursday, Dec. 12 with a win over Delta High School. They are on the road for their next game Monday, Dec. 16 at Lawrence Central.
Kylea has long been a fixture on the backstretch at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. She has grown up around the horses through her dad and through Jamie Macomber.
