The Jayland Trotting Association, based at the Jay County Fairgrounds in Portland, Ind., will once again hold an equipment auction Saturday, Feb. 5. The event will begin at 10 a.m.

The Jayland Trotting Association will hold an equipment sale Saturday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. in the Bubp Hall, located at the Jay County Fairgrounds.
The event will include harness racing equipment and other items association with racing. The event, slated for Bubp Hall, located behind the grandstand, will be run by Loy Auction and Real Estate Auction Company featuring Gary Loy, Ben Lyons, Travis Theurer and Troy Foust as the auctioneers.
Consignments for the sale are now being accepted. To enter a lot into the sale, contact Greg Runyon, sales manager, at (260) 726-4331. Lunch will be available during the sale, which will be in a heated building at the Jay County Fairgrounds. Ample seating is also available during the event. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to the maintenance of the half mile training track at the Jay County Fairgrounds.
