The Jay County Fairgrounds will be the site of a Standardbred equipment sale Saturday, Feb. 6. The sale will be conducted by Loy Real Estate and Auction of Portland, Ind. and will begin at 10 a.m. at the Marion and Irene Bubp Hall, located behind the grandstand.

The sale company will accept consignments beginning Friday, Feb. 5 between 4 and 6 p.m. and prior to the sale time Saturday, Feb. 6. The auction will be led by Gary Loy with assistance from Ben Lyons, Travis Theurer and Aaron Loy. Lunch will also be available during the sale inside a heated building at the fairgrounds with seating available, following Covid-19 rules and regulations.
All proceeds from the sale will be earmarked for the maintenance of the half mile harness racing track at the Jay County Fairgrounds.
