It’s fair time in Indiana. The Indiana Sired Fair Circuit (ISFC) will follow the Quest for the Governor’s Cup Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2 with the first stop slated for Converse Fairgrounds.

The first day of action at Converse will showcase the debut of the first two-year-olds of the year in the pacing ranks. They will be joined by sophomore trotters. Friday’s program will feature two-year-old trotters linked with three-year-old pacers. All events have a purse of $3,800 and both cards begin at 4 p.m. Entries for the ISFC’s first day will be Monday, May 29 (Memorial Day). The box closes at 10 a.m.
The ISFC returns to Converse the following week for two programs, the first Wednesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 8.
The Governor’s Cup Championships are set for Wednesday, Aug. 16 at the Indiana State Fair. Each division will showcase the top eight from the ISFC vying for a purse of $25,000 each. The horses from the ISFC that are in the second set of qualifiers will be eligible for the consolation with purses of $10,000.
