The Indiana Standardbred Association offers annual scholarships to students associated with harness racing in the state of Indiana. The deadline for the scholarships is approaching and all applications must be received to the ISA Office in Greenfield, Ind. By Monday, July 15.

The college assistance and scholarship program provides several thousand dollars worth of continuing education each year. The 2019 Fall College Assistance and the 2019-2020 Scholarship applications are due. The applicant, parent, grandparent or guardian must be a 2019 ISA Member and hold a 2019 IHRC Standardbred license or USTA membership to be eligible for the program. All applicants must also be Indiana residents and should be working towards a two-year associates degree, a four-year bachelor’s degree or a technical trade school and course study or career objectives be directly related to horse racing in Indiana. Applicants must also currently be enrolled as either a part time or full-time student to be eligible for the program.
