Each year, the Indiana Standardbred Association (ISA) holds a special night at Harrah’s Hoosier Park to help usher in the new racing season. “ISA Night at the Races” was held Saturday, April 22 with a Clubhouse full of members coming together for food, fun, and of course, fast racing.

ISA Night at the Races brought in a large base of members for the organization for food, fun, and racing Saturday, April 22 at Harrah’s Hoosier Park.
Members were greeted at the registration table in the Homestretch Clubhouse by ISA Volunteers Ellen Taylor and Tabatha DeLong. Guests registered for a plethora of giveaways, including gift cards and swag. The table also had ISA Membership forms for those who needed to renew their membership, making it convenient for those in attendance. It was a great time for everyone to come together and catch up as the 30th season of racing has returned to Indiana.
While members were enjoying an evening out in the Clubhouse, those who were putting on the show in the paddock were also enjoying the evening. The ISA purchased numerous pizzas from Art’s Pizza in Anderson for those working and racing in the paddock. Giveaways were also available for the horsemen in the paddock lounge with ISA Horsemen’s Representative P.D. Huffman.
“ISA Night at the Races was heavily attended,” said Tony Renz, Executive Director of the ISA. “The evening was a great success.”
