The Indiana Standardbred Association (ISA) offers numerous benefits to all members. Beginning Thursday, April 1, the chiropractor and chaplain will have regular hours at Harrah’s Hoosier Park while the ISA Clinic will kick in to its regular hours Friday, April 2.
Dr. Jeff McIntyre, a native of Shelbyville, Ind., will be available Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. and again on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. He is located in the Horsemen’s Lounge and to take advantage of the services, an individual must have a 2021 IHRC Standardbred license. The longtime practitioner for the ISA, McIntyre specializes in diversified and Cox flexion/distraction techniques and is also trained in sports injuries, automobile accidents, and work injuries.
Claudean Webb will also serve the members of ISA in 2021 as the Chaplain. Webb also kicks into his 2021 schedule Thursday, April 1 with office hours fluctuating daily. He is available from 12 – 4 p.m. on Mondays, 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays adding extended hours on Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Webb will hold weekly church services on Mondays at 2 p.m. Webb’s office is located in the Racing Administration building at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. Starting Friday, the ISA Clinic, also located in the Racing Administration building, will be available to all 2021 IHRC Standardbred licensed individuals from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays. To receive services in the Clinic, individuals must have their IHRC license and a driver’s license or photo ID to be treated. Appointments may be made by calling (317) 621-1230.
The Clinic offers a wide array of services, from lab draws, physicals and immunizations to treatment for ear infections, colds and flu and sprains and strains, to name a few. Select generic medications and refills are also available.
