The 2021 Indiana Standardbred Stallion Directories are now arriving in homes. The publication was mailed the first week of January, but due to US Postal Service delays that have affected a lot of mail in the past few months, the directories are arriving a little later this year to homes.

After postal service delays this season, the Indiana Standardbred Stallion Directories are now arriving in homes. All members should receive their issue by Feb. 1.
Several new stallions are featured for the 2021 breeding season in Indiana. The front and back cover features two yearlings, JK’s Valentine and Ideal Poppy, from the David Wayne Yoder Farm. The issue also features statistics for the stallions in the state, showing the number of mares bred, the foals and starters plus winners with marks under the 2:00 time barrier and total earnings for foals.
Always a Virgin led all pacing sires in 2020 in earnings with more than $866,000 accumulated by his starters. Of that group, 13 two-year-old starters earned more than half of that amount with $440,000 accumulated. JK Endofanera finished in second among pacing stallions with $597,000 accumulated from 21 starters, all two-year-olds for the first crop sire.
Swan for All was the only sire to garner more than $1 million in earnings from his foals for either gait. With a total of 46 starters, the Swan for All foals earned in excess of $1.5 million. Of that amount, 24 two-year-olds started with earnings making up half the total amount with more than $762,000 accumulated. Guccio was second on the list with earnings in excess of $486,000 from his starters for the trotting list.
The new directory is also available online through the ISA Website at www.indianaharness.com. The file can be found under membership services and then click on ISA Publications to access the file.
All members are asked to wait until Feb. 1 before contacting the ISA Office about directories not arriving in homes. If the directories have not arrived by that date, contact the ISA Office and an additional copy will be mailed out at that time.
