Incredible Shark, the winner in the older pacing horse and gelding Indiana Sires Stakes Super Final at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, reeled in a win at The Meadowlands Saturday, Dec. 14. Trained by Jeff Cullipher, the Shadyshark Hanover gelding scored the win in 1:51.4.

Starting from post two in the $16,000 conditioned pace, Incredible Shark and driver Yannick Gingras moved over to the rail to allow No Easy Day and Andy Miller to set the fractions. They were flushed out at the three-quarter mile marker and had put a nose in front in mid-stretch. The five-year-old Indiana sired gelding dug in gamely to score the win by one and one-quarter lengths. Electric Western and Andrew McCarthy finished second.
Owned by Pollack Racing and Cullipher, Incredible Shark now has in excess of $348,000 in earnings. His best time of 1:49.3 was taken earlier this year for his connections. He was an $15,000 purchase from the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale in 2015 by Curt Grummel as agent for Bob Venable of Illinois from the Hoosier Standardbred Farm consignment in 2015.
