Once again, In-Law Stables will bring a big consignment of 35 to the 2022 Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale. They have so many entries it covers two full pages in the October issue of the ISA Magazine led by some impressive brothers and sisters to Indiana Sires Stakes champions.

In-Law Stables will prep 35 yearlings for the upcoming Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale, including some impressive bloodlines from previous Indiana champions.
Leading the way is Dynamic Thunder, a full brother to Breeders Crown Champion Beckhams Z Tam, who has a mark of 1:49, more than $850,000 and is now standing at stud in Indiana. Dynamic Thunder is the sixth foal from Sara’s Lucky Charm, who has produced two others under 1:54.0 in Green Beans and Can This Be Real. The second dam, Modern Bobbi, is also the dam of Indiana Sires Stakes Champion On the Virg with a mark of 1:50 and more than $460,000 in earnings. Dynamic Thunder sells as Hip No. 128 and he can be found in Aisles 19, 20 and 21 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds sales pavilion.
Another yearling that will capture a lot of attention is Hip No. 176 Swan for Life. The Swan for All colt is a full brother to the standout trotter and track record holder at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Whata Swan, who has a mark of 1:50.3 and more than $550,000 in earnings. Swan for Life is the sixth foal from the Lous Legacy dam Tanyas Legacy, who has produced four winners in five foals of racing age.
One yearling that will attract buyers on his name alone is Hip No. 280 Slick Leonard. The gelding by Helpisontheway is a half brother to Summit City Swan (1:54.2, $205,000). The dam of the clever named Slick Leonard was also a champion herself. Earls Miss Muffit had a mark of 1:56.1 during her career and made more than $322,000 before becoming a brood mare. Her full brother, Earls Glider, was also a champion standout with a mark of 1:55.1 and more than $600,000 in earnings.
Those seeking to add a pacer to their barn will look over Savannah Lady, a half sister to Virgo, who has a mark of 1:48.3 and nearly $400,000 in earnings. The family has several other black-type winners, including American Passport (1:51, $350,000). The filly is by Tellitlikeitis and will sell as Hip No. 163.
Sweet Sandy will be another pacer from the In-Law Stables consignment. The Always a Virgin filly, selling as Hip No. 124, is from the mare Sand Pleasure, who earned a mark of 1:51.4 and more than $282,000 during her racing career. She has already produced six winners in seven foals of racing age, including Firstup (1:50.3, $377,000), and Ms Quick Sand (1:53.0, $152,000), who is a full sister to Sweet Sandy.
