The In Law Stables of Topeka, Ind. are bringing another strong consignment to the upcoming Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale, set for Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 23. With the stable producing some of the top performers in recent years in Indiana, this year’s crop of yearlings offers several that are from the same bloodlines as those champions.
The consignment kicks off with Hip No. 8 Strong in the Face. The Rockin Image filly is a sister to Dirty Talk and is from the immediate family of Live Out Loud, who has a mark of 1:49.4 and more than a half million in earnings.
The first crop of Helpisontheway is represented by Hip No. 60, a filly that is a half sister to Summit City Swan, winner of more than $200,000. Out of the tough race mare Earl’s Miss Muffit, Nurse Rhonda is also from the family of Earl’s Glider, winner of more than $600,000.
Whata Swan is one of the best older trotters in the state right now and his full sister is selling as Hip No. 149. Named Swanya, the Swan for All filly is also related to Racin Cream Pie and Yadubist Bluegrass.
Also featured is a full sister to Tellmeaboutit, standout older pacer with a mark of 1:48.3 and more than a half million in earnings. Kruisin Kristen, a daughter of Tellitlikeitis, sells as Hip No. 230 and will be the latest foal seeking to carry on the family tradition from the brood mare Portia Blue Chip.
