The IHRC Office, located in the Racing Administration Building at the entrance to the barn area, is available four days per week prior to the opening of live racing. The office is currently available from 9AM until 2PM Tuesday through Friday. When qualifiers begin, adjusted times will be available to accommodate those coming in for qualifiers on Wednesdays and Saturdays to 8AM until 1 PM. The first qualifying race is set for Saturday, March 11.
Also, the annual special evening qualifying date, or “dress rehearsal” has been set for Wednesday, March 22 and the IHRC Licensing Office will be open from 1PM until 5:30PM to accommodate horsemen coming in for the session.
Opening Weekend will offer special licensing hours to help get everyone licensed for the 2023 racing season. The office will be open from 2PM until 7PM both Friday, March 24 and Saturday March 25. Once racing resumes, the office will be open from 2 until 7PM on racing nights.
In addition to in-person licensing, the IHRC does provide online licensing through their website for both new and renewal applications. For more information regarding online licensing, go to HRC: Licensing: Licensing Home.
