The first Horsemen’s Chili Cookoff, held in partnership with the Indiana Standardbred Association and Harrah’s Hoosier Park, was held Thursday, Nov. 16 on the stage of the Terrace Showroom. A total of four teams competed to raise money for charity.

Each of the booths set up their displays and had themes for their areas. People could purchase tickets and sample the chili, voting for their favorite brew. Each booth selected a charity to represent and any money went to the group. In all, more than $400 was raised through the Horsemen’s Chili Cookoff including a matching donation from Harrah’s Hoosier Park.
Payton Ode and Tim Clevenger finished in first place. The money raised went to their charity of choice, Toys for Tots.
Special thanks to everyone who participated in the Chili Cookoff and for those who donated to a great cause.
