The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is seeking to hire an individual who loves working with kids and horses to join the HHYF team.

The Program Coordinator will assist with the planning and execution of HHYF summer programs and other HHYF events. The individual will help schedule and organize the activities as well as carry out important operational duties. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining budget and track expenditures/transactions along with assistance in communication through media, social media, and through positive relationships with participants, volunteers, trustees and staff. Also, the individual will keep updated horse and participant records and create reports.
Those interested in applying should have proven experience with some type of equine youth activities. He or she should also have knowledge of budgeting, computer technology, social media platforms, and the ability to work and relate to youth between the ages of 12 and 18. Excellent time management and organizational skills are valuable as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills. The position requires travel during the spring, summer and fall months with a slower time in the winter with light office work.
The Program Coordinator position will pay in the range of $35,00 – $40,000 based on experience. Potential benefit options may be available.
