Live racing resumes at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Friday, Nov. 25 with a first post of 4 p.m. The program includes four stakes featuring three-year-olds on both the trot and the pace for the $55,000 Thanksgiving Classic. The 14-race program will also include a $22,000 Open Pace. Racing will also be held at the regular time Saturday, Nov. 26 beginning at 6:15 p.m. featuring the $22,000 Open Trot on the 14-race lineup.
Harrah’s Hoosier Park will race two more weekends in December before closing for the 29th season of Standardbred racing. Action is slated for Thursday, Friday and Saturday through Dec. 10, 2022.
The 2023 racing schedule will be presented at the Indiana Horse Racing Commission meeting Thursday, Dec. 1 at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. Racing dates for the 30th season of Standardbred action are expected to be announced after that meeting, pending approval from the IHRC.
