George also leads the standings in purse earnings accumulated with more than $350,000 during the first two months of 2021. Burke is the only other trainer with horses pulling in more than $300,000 so far during the Miami Valley meet. George is maintaining a top three average of .479.
Peter Redder is also faring well on the year with 13 wins to be ranked sixth in the standings. LeWayne Miller is also enjoying a good meet, winning nine of 32 starts and finishing among the top three in 19 of those outings. He is maintaining an average of .434.
George is coming off a great year in 2020. He completed his fifth straight year with seven figures in purses earned and also scored his 1,000th career win at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. He now has 1,078 career wins through March 1, 2021.
