Rose Run Vision was placed right on the lead from the start and cut out fractions of :30.4, 1:02.1 and 1:32.0 before being challenged by Lillian Rose and Doug Rideout. She held her own through the stretch, winning by one and three-quarter lengths in a time of 2:01.0, pacing home in :29 seconds flat. Lillian Rose was a strong winner over Rigginswind and Matt Rheinheimer for second.
Rose Run Vision picked up a new career mark with the win at the Elkhart County Fair. The Time to Roll filly now has three wins in seven starts for Eash Racing Stable Inc.
It was the first career driving win for Frey, who drove his first race earlier in the card. Frey, who now resides in Knightstown, Ind., is one for two in his career.
Other Eash winners on the day included Skyway Raine in the first division of the two-year-old filly pace in 2:00.4, Townline All Good in a division of the Free For All pace for Indiana owned, sired or bred horses in 1:59.3, and Rockinten in the second division of the two-year-old colt pace in a time of 2:01.1.
