First Turn Stable, the fractional ownership program at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, is now in it’s fifth year of action. The program provides an opportunity to fans to purchase a share of a racehorse for the 2021 racing season.
Trainer Missy Essig is back as the Stable’s trainer this season after stepping in as the trainer in 2020. Essig is currently working with racetrack management to find the right horse for the stable. The cost to become a member of the stable is a one-time fee of $250. Owners are taken back to the barn once per week to visit with their horse.
Membership spots are limited and space is sod on a first come, first served basis.
