Meadowbrook Farm of Topeka, Ind. is putting the final touches on the yearlings headed to the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale later this week. A total of 12 yearlings are represented by Meadowbrook in Aisle 26, including the first horse in the sale, First Page.

Meadowbrook Farm will lead 12 yearlings into the ring this weekend at the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale.
First Page is a daughter of Swan for All and the second foal from the Tom Ridge mare Homepage. Homepage has a mark of 1:53.3 and nearly $400,000 in earnings. The second dam has produced three foals, all with six figures in the earnings column.
Also represented by Meadowbrook Farm is Meadowbrook Lexi at the other end of the sale book. Listed has Hip No. 396, the Swan for All filly is a full sister to TJ’s Top Pick, former Indiana Sires Stakes and year-end champion. With more than $400,000 on his card, TJ’s Top pick leads four foals out of the mare J As Ayd who have all raced. Others from the family include Meadowbrook Nola (1:55.2, $41,000), TJs Too Much (1:58.0, $12,000) and Meadowbrook Nora, a two-year-old this season who has been timed in 2:00.4. The filly is heavily staked outside the state of Indiana, including the Breeders Crown, Hambletonian and Kentucky Futurity.
Grands Delight, Hip No. 98, is a colt that will get a lot of looks. He is a full brother to the Indiana Sires Stakes champion Grand Swan, a winner of more than $730,000 and a mark of 1:52.4. The family also includes seven other winners such as Lord Darby (1:55.1, $327,000) and Jail King (1:56.0, $57,000). Grands Delight is also heavily staked outside of Indiana to include the Breeders Cup, Hambletonian, and Yonkers Trot.
Although Meadowbrook has mainly trotting bloodlines in their lineup, they will sell three pacing bred yearlings. Havenlaneroman is a first foal out of the Panspacificflight mare Ashok Ace, who has a mark of 1:51.2. She is a half sister to Ideal Shadow, who has a mark of 1:50.4 and made nearly $200,000. The third dam has produced several winners as well, including On the Way Again, who has a mark of 1:50.1 and nearly a half-million in earnings. Havenlaneroman sells as Hip No. 248.
Another pacer in the lineup is also a first foal. KP’s Charming Image, selling as Hip No. 290, is the first representative of the Dragon Again mare, Charlie Hanover, who has deep bloodlines on the maternal side. The third dam is Cathedra, Canadian Champion mare with a mark of 1:52.3 and more than $733,000 in earnings and the dam of the millionaire Cathedra Dot Com, who has a mark of 1:51.0.
